It is the capital of the Island state Tasmania and it is the second capital of Sydney found in 1803. The city is located on the river banks of Derwant and a dominated skyline is located here for about 1271 meters of Height.

In history the cit was known as “Hobart town” which named on the colonial secretary “Lord Hobart”. Many encounters leads for the effects of diseases by the settlers away the Aboriginal Population. Hence Derwant River is the major for the Hobart citizens and it is important feature of the Trading purpose and this leads to have a major port in the city finally in 1842 the Hobart became independent city.

Hobart has the good climatic conditions in the state were it has average hours of sunshine in normal temperature and in summers it has the Highest hour of sunshine upto 15.2 hrs in a Day .Winters are  c cold  with snow falls on the Mount Wellington which seems as a snow cap on the mountains.

The Major economy of the City is based on the Trade. Hobart has the busiest port which is the home port for the Australia and France. Port loads the maximum tones of the Cargo and Cruise ships for the tourists especially in summers. Were Hobart has huge visitors of tourists annually for its best climate and especially I summers the visiting percentage of tourist reach maximum. Hence tourism also one of the important factor for the Development in terms of Economy.

Hobart has the best arts and architectural spots in the city. Museums and Gallery are the best home places of Hobart. Several festivals have been celebrated in the State. Hobart is also famous for the music were its orchestra is the home place for the Hobart city. Rock Music scenes like Jazz, punk , Hip Hop, Folk etc. Popular Restaurants and theaters are located in the Hobart Region.

Hobart has the best teams in national and State wide teams. The major sports are the Cricket and the Football .The city has a best leagues among  the two sports. Other  than these rugby, netball, basket ball league were not represented Nationally.

Transportation in Hobart region is strictly the public Transport System. It has a Metro Tasmania facility provided by the Government. There is three mean of transport system at Hobart.

The dominant transport system is the roadways were cars are the dominant mode of Hobarts,                Bike Tracks are also has vast network were the citizens can run from Hobart and some routes to Wellington and banks of Derwant.

Railway is other major network in Hobart was it provided with Narrow gauge of rail line starts in the center and travels towards the North Bridge water.

Water ways is the Major means of transport in Hobart. It has the three different kinds of services at ports ,on the banks of  Derwent River .Hobart is the second deepest natural harbor in the world with large terms of trade from the port.

Hobart International Airport located in the city which serves the domestic and International Flights. This airport has the major attraction of tourists, were it is located near to the excitement stops of the Tasmania.
